		<description>These things shouldn&#039;t prevent you from signing up. They don&#039;t render Twitter useless but they&#039;re still annoying. You&#039;ll encounter stuff like this on any social networking website these days though. Also, Twitter added an option to submit a Twitter user&#039;s account to be reviewed for spam. This gets those junk users blocked faster.

I&#039;ve made some friends via Twitter and networked with a lot of web professionals like myself (and even gone back and forth with some really well-known people as well). It&#039;s worth giving a try, unless you&#039;re generally anti-social-networking, in which case Twitter probably wouldn&#039;t interest you.</description>
